Performing to one's potential in the cockpit requires the ability to contract and tense the muscles associated with the AGSM as effectively as possible. In order to do so, the core, hips and legs need to be ready to fire! Many pilots disregard the mobility component of muscle contraction and resort to standard stretches, or not stretching at all.
